Johnny Weir Opens His Closet Doors

Johnny Weir may have wrapped his hit Sundance series last night, but the figure skater is showing no signs of slowing down. Tomorrow, June 29, the three-time U.S. Men’s Champion will be allowing us access to his most sacred of chambers -- his closet. He is the next subject of Bluefly’s Closet Confessions, an online social media venture celebrating off-the-wall creative wardrobes.

What we can expect tomorrow: lots of spandex, lots of fur, and lots of bags. 

For the premier of the video, Weir will participate in a live "Twitterview" (Twitter + interview) from 12-1. He'll also curate a boutique on Bluefly.com featuring his favorite looks. And, if you'd like to share your own Closet Confessions, you could win a styling session with Weir himself!

Crocs Monsieur

The day was, all the celebs were racing to wear their Crocs (at least, as much as one can race in rubber shoes). Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Al Pacino, Drew Barrymore and hordes of their contemporaries sported them, and so did millions of eager fans. Now, though, the sensible, colorful, colander-like footwear is less cool (except in a literal sense), having permeated down to the folks who wear socks under them, TV chefs and Tim McGraw.

But this is summer season, and so we’re alert and ready to see if the trend’s really dead, and will be limited to little kids, or whether actual adults will still be venturing out in them. Tips and photos welcome…
